No account, no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
Your game stays on your device. Levels, coins, boosters and the animal friends you rescue are saved on your phone or tablet only.
Ads keep the game free. Our advertising and measurement partners receive device information and, if you allow it, your device’s advertising identifier. On iPhone and iPad they get that identifier only if you tap “Allow” when iOS asks; on Android you can delete or reset it at any time.
Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase) help us fix bugs and balance levels. They use a random app ID, not your identity.
Purchases go through Apple or Google. We never see your payment details.
Little Rescue (the “game”) is a puzzle game published by Albert Teknoloji (“Albert”, “we”, “us”), the developer named on the game’s App Store and Google Play pages. Albert decides how the information described here is used and is its data controller (veri sorumlusu under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law, KVKK).
This policy covers the Little Rescue apps for iPhone, iPad and Android and this page. Contact: support@geniusalbert.com.
2What stays on your device
The game has no player accounts and no server that stores your game. The following is saved only in the game’s own storage on your phone or tablet:
your progress: levels completed, stars, coins, hints, erasers, magic wands, hearts and timers;
the animal friends you rescued and your collections, daily challenges and streaks;
the profile name and avatar you pick. Leagues are played against computer-controlled opponents, so your name is never uploaded;
settings (sound, vibration), that you accepted the welcome screen, which offers you have seen, and whether you own Ad-Free Rescue;
game content and game settings downloaded from our servers.
We cannot see or access any of this. It is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data. If you use iCloud or Google backups, your device may include the game’s data in that backup, under your own account.
Permissions
Little Rescue does not ask for your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files. It asks only for permission to send notifications (if you turn on reminders) and, on iPhone and iPad, permission to track (see section 5). On Android it also uses the standard internet, network-state and advertising-ID permissions, which have no prompt.
3What the services we use collect
While you play, the game uses the services below. They receive information from your device automatically. None of them receives your name or email address from us.
“Device information” means things like device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, screen size, network type, app version and the IP address your device connects from, which can reveal an approximate location such as your country or city.
AppLovin MAX
AppLovin Corp.
Used for
Showing ads: choosing which ad network fills each ad, frequency capping, ad quality checks, fraud prevention, and counting impressions and ad revenue.
Information
Device information; the advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS only if you allow tracking; the Android advertising ID unless you delete it); app-specific IDs such as Apple’s identifier for vendor; the ads you see and tap; and simple game events (level started or completed, booster used, shop opened, coins earned or spent).
Install attribution: learning which of our own ad campaigns bring players and whether they pay off, and detecting install fraud. If you don’t allow tracking on iOS, it relies on Apple’s privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork reports instead.
Information
Device information; identifiers set by AppsFlyer and the operating system (such as Apple’s identifier for vendor); the advertising identifier (on iOS only if you allow tracking); how the game was installed (store referrer, campaign); and game events including level progress, ad revenue, purchases (product, price, currency) and short technical error messages (for example a failed purchase or a level file that did not load).
Understanding how the game is played: where players get stuck, balancing difficulty and rewards, testing improvements (A/B tests) and measuring revenue.
Information
A random app-instance ID; device information; country or region derived from the IP address; session times; and game events such as level number and result, boosters and hearts used, ads shown, purchases (product, price, currency), test group and short technical error messages. The advertising identifier where available (on iOS only if you allow tracking).
Crash and error details (stack trace), device model, operating system and app version, free memory and storage, a Crashlytics installation ID and the level being played at the time.
Not used for tracking
Firebase Remote Config
Google
Used for
Delivering game settings (for example how often ads appear, or event dates) without an app update, and assigning test groups.
Information
A Firebase installation ID, app version, platform, language and country.
Not used for tracking
Firebase Cloud Messaging
Google
Used for
Push notifications, only if you turn on reminders. We send to groups of players, never to one person.
Information
A push token for your device and the notification groups it joined (all players, and iOS or Android).
Not used for tracking
Firebase Hosting & Cloud Storage
Google
Used for
Downloading new levels, daily puzzles and character art.
Information
IP address and standard request details in server logs.
Not used for tracking
App Store & Google Play
Apple, Google
Used for
Processing in-app purchases and restoring Ad-Free Rescue.
Information
Apple or Google handle the payment. The game receives only a confirmation: product, transaction ID, price and currency.
Not used for tracking
This list is complete for the current version of the game. The game does not use social logins, contact or friend lists, or any other analytics or attribution service. If we add a service, we will update this policy first.
4Advertising
Little Rescue is free and paid for by ads: a banner, a full-screen ad after some levels, and optional reward videos you can choose to watch for a bonus. Ad-Free Rescue, a one-time in-app purchase, removes the banner and full-screen ads; reward videos stay available if you want them.
Ads are personalized (based on your activity in other apps and websites) only when you allow it. Otherwise you still see ads, but they are chosen using information such as the app you are in and your approximate location.
5Your tracking choices
iPhone and iPad
After the welcome screen, a short “Ads & Privacy” screen explains the question iOS is about to ask. iOS then asks whether Little Rescue may track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. We ask only once, and the game plays exactly the same whatever you choose. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, neither the game nor its partners can access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA).
Change your answer at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking or Settings › Little Rescue.
Android
Open Settings › Google › Ads (on some phones Settings › Privacy › Ads) and choose Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID. After you delete it, apps receive no advertising ID and ads are no longer personalized with it. See Google’s help page.
Turning off tracking or personalized ads does not remove ads. It only changes how they are chosen.
6Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
The first time you open the game, every player in every country sees a Welcome screen with a link to this policy:
“We use ads to keep Little Rescue free to play. By tapping Continue you accept our Privacy Policy.”
When you tap Continue, the game saves that choice on your device and tells AppLovin, which passes it on to the ad networks in section 3, that you agreed to personalized advertising. On iPhone and iPad, Apple’s tracking setting always applies on top: if you don’t allow tracking, your advertising identifier is not used, whatever you accepted on the Welcome screen.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. The game has no in-game switch for this yet, so use your device: on iPhone and iPad turn tracking off, and on Android delete your advertising ID (section 5). Without the identifier, ads can no longer be personalized for your device. You can also email us to object to any processing (section 13). Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before.
7Notifications
Push notifications are sent only if you tap “Turn on reminders” on an in-game card and then allow the system prompt.
Reminders, for example that today’s daily puzzle is ready or that your streak is at risk, are scheduled by the game on your device. No data leaves your device for them.
Turn either off at any time in your device’s notification settings for Little Rescue.
8In-app purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their terms and privacy policies. We never see your card or billing details and cannot see your Apple ID or Google account. The game receives a confirmation (product, transaction ID, price and currency) so it can deliver what you bought. The product and amount are also recorded in Firebase Analytics and AppsFlyer to measure revenue.
9Why we use information (legal bases)
Consent: personalized ads and tracking across other companies’ apps (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1), explicit consent).
Legitimate interests in running a free, ad-funded game: showing non-personalized ads, analytics, crash reports, fraud prevention and measuring our own campaigns without the advertising identifier (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
Contract: providing the game, its downloadable content and the items you buy (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).
Legal obligations, such as keeping purchase records for tax purposes (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c); KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç)).
We do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
10How long we keep information
On your device: until you uninstall the game or clear its data.
Analytics (Firebase): event-level data, including copies in our own Google Cloud project used for game-balancing reports, is kept for up to 26 months and then deleted. Aggregated statistics that cannot identify a device may be kept longer.
Crash reports (Crashlytics): 90 days.
Push token: until it stops being valid, for example after you turn notifications off or uninstall the game.
AppLovin, the ad networks and AppsFlyer: according to their own policies, linked in section 3.
Emails to us: as long as needed to help you and to keep a record of your request, and no longer than 2 years after our last message.
11Sharing and international transfers
We share information only with the services listed in section 3, with Apple and Google as app stores, where the law requires it (for example a valid request from a public authority), or with a company that takes over the game, in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise. AppLovin, the ad networks and AppsFlyer also use the information they collect for their own purposes as independent controllers, under their own policies. We do not sell personal information for money.
These providers process data in Turkey, the European Union, the United States and other countries (for example Israel, Singapore and China). Where data from the EEA, the UK or Turkey goes to a country without an adequacy decision, the transfer relies on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK transfer addendum and, for Turkey, the standard contracts or explicit consent provided for in KVKK Article 9.
12Children
Little Rescue is a general-audience game. It is not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age of digital consent in your country, which is 16 in some EU countries), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has played the game and information about them was collected, email us and we will delete what we can link to their device.
13Your rights
EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR, UK GDPR)
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing (including to personalized advertising, at any time) and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Turkey (KVKK, Article 11)
You can learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it; learn the purpose and whether it is used for that purpose; know the third parties in Turkey or abroad it is transferred to; ask for correction, deletion or destruction and for those to be notified to the third parties; object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. After applying to us, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
California and other US states
You can ask to know, access, correct and delete your personal information, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising. Giving advertising identifiers to ad partners can count as “selling” or “sharing” under these laws. To opt out, use the device settings in section 5 or email us. We will not treat you differently for using these rights, and we do not knowingly sell or share information of consumers under 16.
How to make a request
Email support@geniusalbert.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Because there are no accounts, tell us your device type (iPhone, iPad or Android), roughly when you installed the game and, if you can, your Android advertising ID, so we can find the data linked to your device. Requests are free. We answer within 30 days and may ask for details to confirm the request relates to your device. If we cannot link some data to you, we will tell you.
14Deleting your data
Delete the game (or clear its storage). This removes everything saved on your device, including your progress. We cannot restore it afterwards.
Reset or delete your advertising ID (section 5) so new data cannot be linked to old data.
Email us at support@geniusalbert.com with “Delete my data”. We will delete the analytics and crash data we can link to your device and ask AppsFlyer to delete its records for your device’s identifiers. Ad networks also offer their own deletion and opt-out tools, linked in section 3.
15Security
Information the game sends is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to our analytics, crash-report and attribution dashboards is limited to the people at Albert who need it to run the game. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect the information we handle.
16Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever the game’s data practices change, for example when we add a new partner. The effective date at the top shows the current version. For significant changes we will also let you know in the game where we reasonably can.
