Frequently asked questions
Is my progress saved? Do I need an account?
There is no account or sign-in. Your progress, coins, boosters and rescued friends are saved automatically on your device as you play.
Because nothing is stored on our servers, uninstalling the game or clearing its data erases your progress, and we cannot restore it.
Can I move my progress to a new phone?
Progress does not sync between devices. When you move to a new phone with a full device backup and restore (iCloud or Google), the game’s data may come across with the rest of your apps, but we cannot guarantee it.
Purchases are different: Ad-Free Rescue follows your Apple ID or Google account and can be restored on any device (see below).
How do I restore my purchase?
- On the home screen, tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.
- Under PURCHASES, tap Restore purchase.
Use the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. Restoring brings back Ad-Free Rescue. Coins, packs, the Pawprint Pass and other items that are used up in play cannot be restored by the store. If one of those did not arrive, see “I paid but didn’t get my item” below.
How do I remove ads?
Buy Ad-Free Rescue, a one-time purchase. You can find it in three places:
- the REMOVE ADS button on the left of the home screen;
- the Shop (the shop icon in the bottom bar) under NO ADS;
- Settings (gear icon) under REMOVE ADS.
It removes banner and full-screen ads for good. Optional reward videos, which you choose to watch for a bonus, stay available.
I paid but didn’t get my item.
Make sure you are connected to the internet, then close the game completely and open it again: a purchase the store confirmed late is delivered on the next launch. For Ad-Free Rescue, also try Restore purchase.
Still missing? Email us with the date, the item and your store receipt or order number. Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (your order history), not by us.
Where are the animal friends I rescued?
Tap the sign with the little house, just under the top bar of the home screen. Before your first rescue it reads RESCUES; after that it shows the collection you are working on and how many of its friends you have found. It opens My Friends, with every friend you have rescued, sorted into collections.
To rescue more, play the levels marked with a cage badge on the level map: each one has a friend waiting inside, and clearing the board sets them free.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Use your device’s settings: Settings › Notifications › Little Rescue on iPhone and iPad, or Settings › Apps › Little Rescue › Notifications on Android.
How do I stop personalized ads?
On iPhone and iPad, turn off tracking in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. On Android, delete or reset your advertising ID in Settings › Google › Ads. You will still see ads, but they won’t be based on your activity in other apps. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@geniusalbert.com and tell us:
- what happened and what you expected;
- the level number, if it happened in a level;
- your device model and iOS or Android version;
- the game version, shown at the bottom of Settings (gear icon);
- a screenshot or screen recording, if you can.
Crash reports also reach us automatically, without your name or contact details.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the game removes everything it saved on your device, including your progress. To also delete the analytics and crash data linked to your device, email support@geniusalbert.com with “Delete my data” and your device type. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what is deleted and how.
Is the game free?
Yes. Little Rescue is free to play with ads, and every level can be finished without paying. Optional in-app purchases (coins, packs, the Pawprint Pass and Ad-Free Rescue) are charged through the App Store or Google Play. You can turn off in-app purchases on a child’s device with Screen Time (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play’s purchase authentication settings.
